My short term vision of what success looks like would be being able to be 110% reliant off of my small business while being able to employ a team as well. you have to know if your idea of success is being able to take off whenever you want or not work at all it’s about your happiness not your image. A lot of people don’t define their idea of success and it leads to chasing waterfalls. My personal definition of success is peace. What is “success” or “successful” for you? I believe what sets my company aside is that this is truly something I enjoy doing and I’m producing an affordable gateway for people to try gourmet items no matter what color, socioeconomic class or gender you may be. My catering is where I’m able to show my creative side by releasing new menus with signature items. My clients appreciate my services because I will not give you want you want if it doesn’t fit your initial goal (I’m not just here for the $ I want to help) and I never let them eat boring foods. I customize every meal prep according to my client’s workout routine, weight gain or loss goals & preferred protein. I would say I specialize in meal preparation because those clients are my foundation. My specialties are meal preparation and catering. I could tell you about all of the bad situations, mishaps and unfortunate events I’ve had in life but I’ve learned that most people don’t care so I’ll pass this along…Be easy on yourself, there is no rush because there’s no finish line this is a marathon not a race & cherish those that support you in all aspects. If not, what were some of the struggles along the way? ![]() Since catering is my passion, my goal is to build a clientele base that will allow me to cater high-end gourmet meals, events and meal preparation for high dollar clients and celebrities. The news slowly reached back to my hometown and around the DFW which opened the door for me to cater and do meal preparation throughout the metroplex when I come to visit. though the start was rough I had an outpour or support from family that helped me build a great clientele base. A little while later in life around 2018 I found the courage to put my skill out there and service people local to me out in Little Rock. I ventured off after I graduated but always held a passion for fine dining and experimenting in the kitchen. ![]() Through the program, I felt a strong sense of purpose and my passion and efforts were always appreciated by my head Chef. ![]() My classes were usually early morning so I ran the barista stands along with being the sous chef and helping prep for lunch service. I chose culinary arts which during my classes, we ran a full-service barista bar/bistro through our school. Called frontier high school that recommended you pick a program of study to help shape your future career plans. I went to a career based high school out in Mansfield, TX. I’m currently 26 and I started cooking in a commercial kitchen when I was 16. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
